Allergies affect approximately 50 million Americans. Allergies are the immune system’s over reactive response to an allergens in your home and environment, in the food you eat. Allergens are unique to each individual, what may be an allergen for one individual may not be an allergen for another. There are many allergy treatments and therapies available, including acupuncture.

Acupuncture can treat your allergy symptoms.  A study published in September 2004 of Allergy magazine concluded that a combination of herbs/supplements and weekly Acupuncture treatments can alleviate the symptoms and may help with preventing allergies.  The study showed that Acupuncture helped reduce or stop allergy symptoms such as headaches, sinus pressure, sinus pain, stuffy nose, sneezing, itchy burning eye and watery eyes.
